Bulk add or remove users for order status emails

Find out how to change who at your company is CC'd on order status emails.

Overview

By default, order-related emails are only sent to the person who initiated the order. But, you can add users to be automatically included!

✨ Tip: Only a user with the Admin role for the restaurant can access this function.

There are three types of order-related status emails that people can be CC'd on:

  • New order placed: Sent every time one of your team members submits an order
  • Order viewed by the vendor: Sent every time a vendor opens your restaurant's order
  • Order confirmed by the vendor: Sent every time a vendor confirms your restaurant's order
✨ Tip: Please be aware that the CC Emails field overrides any personal notification settings—a user cannot turn these off within their own profile.

Follow these steps to update the order-related email CC list.

Note: Screenshots shown were taken from an Android phone. However, all information in this article is applicable regardless of how you access the app: via mobile phone, tablet, or the desktop web portal.

Bulk add or remove users for order status emails

  1. If using the mobile app, open the side menu by selecting the three lines.
  2. From the side navigation menu, select Settings.
  3. In the Settings submenu, select Restaurant.
  4. On the Restaurant Settings page, scroll down to the Notifications section.
  5. Add or remove email addresses for notification, separated with a comma, into the CC Emails field.
    Tip: Please remember that users who have been signed up for these notification emails CANNOT individually remove themselves from this list via their own profile settings. An admin-level user must remove them at this screen.
  6. Select or clear checkboxes for the three email types, as desired.
  7. Scroll down and select the Save button.
